McCain Library

Visiting McCain Library's Special Collections department was an interesting and educational experience. I had not been previously so the experience was new. Two items of special interest to me include the old book slates used for printing and illustrating old print and the historic old royal furniture donated by a faithful Alumni/Faculty member. Everything in the Special Collections is a wonderful treasure. It is neat to have such an elaborate collection here on campus.
McCain Library's Special Collections department is a fabulous tool. Its elaborate treasures serve students, faculty, alumni, and various researchers alike. It is quite a unique place to learn a great deal on the campus of Southern Mississippi. I look forward to visiting McCain Library Special Collections department again soon, and I hope that I will have the opportunity to research a personal topic there as well.
For those interested, one can visit the McCain Library online at http://www.lib.usm.edu/spcol/
