As semesters draw to an end all over the country and the weather cools off and the leaves change colors students know, exams are coming. Final exams are a reality of college life. Students commonly dread the final weeks of school and the impending final exams those weeks hold in store for them.
Final exams require a great deal of preparation and intensive studying. In many classes, exams account for up to fifty percent of a student's overall grade in that course. Another added difficulty is that all finals are given in around a week's time period. As exams approach here at USM, students are beginning to "buckle down" for the final stretch of the semester. I know that I personally am ready to cross that finish line this fall.
